Jones Soda Finished Product

And there ya go...
Below are the finished commercials that I helped to add animation to. They turned out pretty good in the end. The girl did not do as good as the guy did on camera. Believe it or not the girl was an actress that they hired for the shoot. They spent 3 hours giving her fake tattoo's before the shoot, which really didn't show up that well in the final commercial. I went to the final screening of the commercials and ours definitely stood out. In a class of amateur communication design students there were a few notable commercials that were produced. Namely it depended on the production budget. One crew dropped a few thousand bucks on a high end camera production company, which produced an awesome Levi's commercial. All and all I learned that advertising is a very simple way to make a great deal of money. With a descent concept, a few bucks and a mediocre crew, a quality commercial is not that difficult to make. Anyway check out the clips, they're only 30 seconds a piece.

Here are are a few of the other entries that were submitted by other students.

Dude... these are the best commercials I've seen about Jones. Great commercials!! You should post them on Jones Video website! http://www.myjonesvideo.com/

One edit you might make is the Dr. Pepper pop machine in the background... They compete with Jones in the beverage business.

Good job!

You know I told the guys that filmed the show from the beginning that they should of put a poster over the dr. pepper machine. I might just go back and add something in. I'll let you know.

I like the first guy one... That's the one I'd post on the MyJonesVideo site. The girl seems to stumble through her lines.

I love the fade of the image onto the bottle. That's a big thing for Jones since they have the patent on the picture on the bottle thing.

If you did more of these and go outside the common demographic of Jones... target a kid on a mountain bike instead of a skateboard kind of thing.

You might not even use an actor... Have a cool photo of someone like Chanelle Sladics who is a snowboarder sponsored by Jones and have her talk about who she is and that makes her unique then pull that photo onto the bottle and have the hand pick it up... that's cool work.
